It will not be until the end of September when the singer’s first album will be released, but today she begins her solo concert tour
Amaia Romero , brand new winner of "Operación Triunfo 2017", has released the first official single of her career, "El relámpago", a "single" marked by its lyrical load and a video clip that a few hours after its premiere, has achieved more 350 thousand views on YouTube.
And it is that "El relámpago" is not only a love song where the "former triumph" surrenders to her supposed lover, but there is a very marked musical change from the beginning to the end of the song, starting with an introduction to calm piano and ending with more forceful electric rhythms.
The new song, available on digital platforms , comes after the release last December of “A new place”, a song of just over a minute and a half that was never considered an official “single” by of his record company, but that has already caused a stir on social networks.
"El relámpago", 4 and a half minutes long, has been created and produced by Romero herself and by Santiago Ariel Barrionuevo, better known as Santiago "Motorizado" and for being the singer and composer of the Argentine alternative rock band He Killed a motorized policeman.
Along with the song, the video clip that accompanies it has also been published, the work of the Spanish production company Vampire Films, which has aroused great praise from Internet users for its visual appeal and poetic charge.
Amaia shines in networks with her new "single"
"Beneath the lightning, I’m going to tell you my secret" and "I write my name on your hand" are some of the most notable verses in this composition of simple lyrics, marked melody and emotional discharge.
At the moment the date of publication or the official title of what will be the expected record debut of this Navarrese artist is unknown, who is currently on tour, with imminent concerts such as this weekend at the Warm Up Estrella Levante in Murcia and the one of the Mallorca Live Festival next week.
It was the collaboration with the Madrid group Carolina During the first recording of the Navarrese, “Excuse me (now yes yes”), a video that in 24 hours accumulated more than 160,000 reproductions. A complete success for this beginning indie band.
Amaia Romero, at just 18 years old, declared herself the winner of “OT 2017” in a special program followed by 3.9 million viewers (30.8 percent screen share), just one week after being also chosen by the audience together with the aforementioned Alfred García to represent Spain with "Your song" in the final of Eurovision 2018.
Today, her life has little to do with the one she maintained before entering the Operación Triunfo academy, being, not only one of the most beloved voices in Spain, but also a female reference.
