Mexico City woke up in the middle of an earthquake measuring 7.5 on the Richter scale, which caused thousands of people to register the natural phenomenon. But morning TV shows like Venga La Alegría had to be prevented and that’s how their hosts reacted.
Venga La Alegría is one of the highest-rated morning shows in all of Mexico. Due to the schedule in which it is broadcast and the earthquake that was registered in the morning of today in Mexico City, the drivers reacted to the natural phenomenon.

Today around 10 in the morning an earthquake of 7.5 degrees Richter was registered in Mexico City. This phenomenon caused thousands of people to react in a surprising but efficient way following the security protocols, as did the Venga La Alegría drivers.
Sergio Sepúlveda and Laura G went to the security area outside the Tv Azteca building but they continued the transmission even during the earthquake. Likewise, the drivers began to report the details of what was happening while they were in the security area.

A few minutes later, when the earthquake stopped, the drivers returned to the forum where they continued with the details and links explaining what had happened to the people and the effects of the earthquake. The transmission was not interrupted but the drivers followed the instructions and showed how the earthquake was experienced.

So far, the large-scale earthquake has not seriously affected the capital of Mexico, but it has seen videos and testimonies that have gone viral because they show the effects of the earthquake.
