Unfortunately, infections by Covid-19 are on the rise, and the IMSS is kind enough to provide some advice to prevent this from getting out of control again
The Covid-19 nightmare is not over in Mexico yet; On the contrary, this time it has intensified again, and because of this, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) has asked citizens not to lower their guard , because it is because of this that we fell victim to the virus again.
It should be noted that sanitary measures must be reinforced not only at school or work, but also at home and with our loved ones, all with the aim of preventing infections as much as possible, and for this, the IMSS has some advice for us. keep us safe.
While it is true, we already know the security protocols ; However, there is apathy on the part of many citizens who to date do not take this seriously, and due to negligence , the cases of contagion and even deaths have increased; therefore, much more awareness is needed throughout the general population.
Both workers, students, teachers, parents or guardians and anyone who goes to their work or teaching spaces must use the face mask properly and remove it only to consume food or when they are in an outdoor space, the IMSS said.
Regarding the face mask, the IMSS indicated that in the event that the face mask is disposable, it must be removed and thrown in a container with a lid, which many people do not do. Now, if the mask is cloth, it must be placed in a bag that can be sealed.
On the other hand, when washing the face mask , water should not be splashed, likewise, it should be avoided to use a reusable face mask the next day without having washed it first. As for public transport, the mask must be worn at all times and done correctly, covering the nose and mouth.
The use of antibacterial gel is also another of the recommended measures to avoid being infected by this serious disease, in the same way you have to avoid touching your face, and when coughing or sneezing you have to cover your mouth and nose making an internal angle with your elbow or with a disposable tissue.
In case you share electronic equipment at your school or work, it must be disinfected before use, preferably using alcohol-based wet wipes or with a spray that contains 70% alcohol. Remember that in closed spaces you have to maintain adequate ventilation and keep 1.5 meters away from other people.
Do not forget that at home it is also important to have good ventilation and keep common areas very clean, such as bathrooms, living room and kitchen. Finally, the IMSS added that it is very important to have all your vaccines, and to go to the doctor soon in case of presenting the classic symptoms such as sore throat, headache, shortness of breath and dry cough.
