For not having covered the alimony of his two daughters in the period 2015-2017, a subject will have to pay 176 thousand 70 pesos
Not having taken care of his daughters for two years, will cost a subject a lot, since he was sentenced to pay 176 thousand 70 pesos for food not supplied in a period of 2015-2017, this according to what was reported by the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (PGJ-CDMX)
Said amount was what was accumulated in the years that he failed to comply with the judicial resolution, but he must also pay a fine of 11,323 pesos to support the following pensions. The local unit also reported that due to these acts, the man also lost parental authority over one of the minors under 18 years of age.
To give this sentence, both the PGJ-CMDX and the Public Ministry of the Criminal Enforcement Prosecutor’s Office, highlighted that the best interests of children were privileged because throughout this process both girls were in a situation of risk and vulnerability.

According to the data portal of Mexico City, from January to June 2019, 108 investigation folders have been initiated for the crime of food insolvency, of which 102 of those involved are victims under 18 years of age.
In fact, in the course of 2018, 326 investigations were opened for the same crime; 476 in 2017; 691 during 2016 and 837 in 2015. In addition to this, the data report from the capital mentioned that this low-impact crime mainly affects girls and adolescents, since 64% of the victims are women. Apart from the above, the mayor’s office with the highest record is Cuahtémoc with 35 complaints so far in 2019.
On the other hand, one of the aspects to highlight is that 60% of the investigations are being carried out especially for the care of children and adolescents. However, some specialists on the subject assured that most of these crimes are not reported, although this judicial process is quite simple.
Edmundo Rojas, attorney at R&T Consultores, explained that a child support trial is simple.
It is an obligation of the alimony creditor, that if he works and is of productive age, normally, by right the mother has to earn it or, in his case, whoever has parental authority
It should be remembered that the claim for alimony can be provided to children under 18 years of age, or who continue studying up to 24 years of age. Who can report are the people who have parental authority, mothers, children of legal age, the Public Ministry and relatives up to the fourth degree.
