The kitchen can be the perfect place for family members to have a good time, apart from enjoying the food that is prepared. And one of the best options is the homemade pizza, since it is a quite entertaining option and it will help you to keep your children happy.
It will not be difficult to find all the ingredients, since you can even find them in your refrigerator. You will only need a little time and some creativity and you will see that you will get some super good pizzas.
Ingredients
200 gr of water
300 gr of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 sachet of yeast
15 gr of olive oil
Ground wheat semolina (optional)
How to prepare it
Mix the flour, salt and yeast in a bowl
Make a volcano-shaped mountain with the ingredients and add the warm water and olive oil
Stir the pasta well until it is more or less smooth. To do this you can help yourself with a fork.
When you have the dough, sprinkle a smooth surface with a little flour or very finely ground wheat semolina, and put the dough on top. Work the dough well, the idea is that it remains elastic. You can also squish it with the base of your hand, fold it in half and press again with the base of both hands. Keep repeating the same process for about five minutes.
After you’ve been kneading for five minutes it’s time to refine the dough. Squash the dough, turn it, twist it, and repeat the process for another five to ten minutes.
When you have it, spread a bowl with a little oil and transfer the dough to said bowl.
Cover the bowl with cling film and leave the dough to ferment for about 40 minutes.
After the dough has fermented, cut it into 2-3 pieces and smooth it out until thin (depending on how you like it).
Finally, cover the dough with the ingredients that you like the most. Put the pizza in the oven and wait until it is golden brown.
You must bear in mind that before putting the pizza in the oven, you must let the dough rest for 30 to 40 minutes.
