Re-registrations for the 2020-2021 school year will take place on August 6 and 7 and will be immediately
Now that it has been announced that the start of classes for the 2020-2021 school year will be remotely on August 24, the Ministry of Public Education has mentioned how to pre-register your child online for primary school.
Registration and re-registration for the school year that is about to begin will take place on August 6 and 7. And they will be carried out immediately for the corresponding level.
The delivery of all the documentation will be carried out during the first three months of the cycle, with the exception of the personal data of the student, the mother, father or guardian in order to establish immediate contacts in emergency cases.
In addition to explaining that the re-registration will be carried out automatically at the corresponding degrees.
If the student attended the immediately preceding grade in the same school, the principal or director of the public or private educational institution with authorization will verify his academic background in his files, without requiring further documentation from the mother, father or guardian, with the exception of updating the personal data of the student, mother, father or guardian in order to establish immediate contact in emergency cases
Back to class
On the other hand, the head of the Ministry of Public Education, Esteban Moctemuza Barragán mentioned that the return to face-to-face classes will only occur when the epidemiological traffic light is green. For the moment they will be at a distance and having the support of open education.
We would like to go back to face-to-face classes but it is neither possible nor prudent. The effort is enormous, more than 4,550 will be broadcast on television programs and 640 radio programs in indigenous languages. They are not entertainment broadcasts, the classes will have a curricular value and the students will be evaluated on the contents. All the explanations to capture the signal, to know the schedules and the channels will be given daily. Starting today at 5:00 p.m., information will be given on the return to classes through open television channels.
