Thibault suffered a serious accident four years ago when he fell from a height of 15 meters while enjoying a night out at the club. The injury caused by the wound deeply damaged his spine, leaving him tetraplegic, that is, unable to use his upper and lower extremities.
After staying in the hospital for more than two years, a team of scientists from the University of Grenoble approached him to offer to be the test subject of an exoskeleton that could help him regain mobility in his legs and arms.

For this, Thibault underwent a surgical procedure to implant a certain device on both sides of his brain.
