The battle for his health does not end since Toño Mauri confessed that he is now fighting bacteria that have lodged in his stomach and lung
Everything seems to indicate that the battle against the coronavirus of Toñi Mauri has not ended even after having miraculously overcome the disease. Since now he has confessed that he fights against bacteria present in his lung and stomach.
In a recent interview with a show program, the actor revealed that he will soon receive a third dose of the anti-covid vaccine, since he is in the range of vulnerable people due to his long recovery after being infected with coronavirus. Toño Mauri faces another battle, now against bacteria in the stomach and lungs.
It should be remembered that last December, the soap opera actor underwent a double lung transplant to reverse the consequences left by Covid-19.
I continue with the recovery, taking great care of myself because indeed this issue of the rebound that the pandemic has had affects us all in general.
On the other hand, in a conversation with the hosts of the program Sale el Sol, Mauri gave more details of his current state of health
I am vaccinated and now they have just told me that I have to get a third vaccine to reinforce, in my case, my immune system, which I strongly agree with because now I am in this recovery and I realize that the vaccine is working because we are seeing that the cases that are having right now the majority are cases that were not vaccinated
The producer also confessed that now his body has also been quite affected by bacteria in the lung and stomach.
"That bacteria (from the lung), the doctors explained to me, we all have it, but in many people these bacteria never developed that way and in other people they did. In my case, I had that bacteria before the transplant, that is It was active before the transplant and now it came out again because my defenses dropped again and the bacteria gained strength, the advantage is that obviously when detecting it and knowing what it is, the doctors are monitoring it ", he commented.
(The stomach) we already control it, which is the advantage. I no longer have a fever, I had a very bad diarrhea that went away, so we fight that bacteria
On the other hand, the actor expressed his affection for his brother-in-law Miguel Alemán Magnani, who is wanted by the Mexican authorities for alleged tax fraud.
The only thing I can tell you is that I have known them for 34 years. It is an extraordinary family, a wonderful family that if they have something in their heart it is Mexico and, well, it hurts, but I repeat it again, it is a family, really, I dare say, faultless
