Many of us know about the lives of artists on stage, and everything seems to be a divine gift that came without any kind of sacrifice, however, behind their fame, the story is totally different; this is what Carlos Rivera had to live
Carlos Augusto Rivera Guerra, better known in the entertainment world as Carlos Rivera, is one of the most talented men who has given the reality show La Academia in 2004, this earned him the appointment by the city council of " Favorite Son of Huamantla ”, but before he became famous, not everything was honey on flakes, and good Carlos led a normal life like all Mexicans, until this triumph completely changed his life.
Before stepping on stages nationally and internationally and doing duets with established artists, Carlos appeared in various singing contest programs in Tlaxcala, and there was also a time when he worked as a radio host, however, once he left from La Academia, the singer shared one of the most difficult moments he experienced before becoming famous.
16 years ago his life changed completely, and the fact is that La Academia was a watershed in his personal and professional life, but before that, in an interview for the D-Generaciones program of the Unicable signal in Mexico, he said that he had no money to buy clothes to participate in the reality show, as she was just about to graduate from high school.
They asked us for five pants and I don’t know what to enter and I remember saying ‘5 pants…’, I didn’t have one. I had a pants that was the one for school, the one for high school sports.
Situation that he said, generated mixed feelings, on the one hand sadness at not having enough financial resources to be able to buy the clothes he needed and present himself before the television cameras, and on the other hand the happiness of being able to participate in the contest.

Fortunately, the Mexican singer has great support from a woman who for many years has been his friend and accomplice in each of his adventures, and that is his sister Norma Lizbeth Rivera; He says that a great gesture on his part was when he lent him the money to buy shoes and clothes that they were asking him for so that he could enter the Academy, he knew that the money that his sister was giving him was to pay the rent of the department where she lived.
So once Carlos was victorious in the singing contest, as a thank you to his sister who supported him when he needed it most, he bought him an apartment so that he would never have to pay the rent again, and also paid for his university degree. Now with the financial situation so comfortable that the singer has, one of his priorities is the well-being of his family and the people around him.
